Dear Friends and Families of Lyndhurst and the Surrounding Communities,

It has been an incredible privilege and honor to guide, assist, and comfort you and your family during your most vulnerable moments of life.  From the time I first entered the funeral business at the age of 14, I have dedicated myself to providing care and support to those in need, and I’ve been blessed to witness the strength and resilience of the families in our community.  Your trust and faith in me and my work have been the greatest reward, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

As I step back and take on a partner to continue the legacy of Nazare Memorial Home, please know that my commitment to the families of Lyndhurst and surrounding areas remains in good hands.  Jeff Macanka and I have a longstanding personal and professional relationship.  Jeff has been a licensed funeral director for almost 40 years and has always embraced the delicate nature of the funeral business.  He owned and operated Introcaso - Angelo Funeral Home in Jersey City for many years and is a past president of the NJ State Funeral Directors Association.  I have no doubt that he will continue the level of care and dedication that you have come to expect.  Jeff, along with my daughter, Karen as manager, and our staff, Michele O’Neill (Rullo) and Nick Stanlaw all appreciate your trust in us to care for your families in the tradition we have over the years.  While I am semi-retiring, I want you to know that I will still be available to the Nazare Memorial Home staff whenever needed to provide the service and compassion this community deserves.

Thank you for allowing me the honor to serve you.  I will carry these memories with me always.

                                                                              With deepest appreciation,

                                                                              Joe Nazare
