Obituary of Vincent A. Rosa

Rosa, Vincent A. Sr., 94 of Lyndhurst on Saturday August 18, 2007. Mr. Rosa was born in Benevento, Italy, He migrated to the Bronx, and has Lived in Lyndhurst since 1952. Mr. Rosa worked on the railroad in New York. He was the owner and operator of Rosa Electrical Appliances, Lyndhurst from 1946 until he retired in 1970. He was a Parishioner, Eucharistic Minister, and a lifetime member of the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst. Mr. Rosa was a member of the Knights of Columbus Post #2396, Lyndhurst, where he was past Grand Knight. He also was a 4th Degree member of the Santa Maria General Assembly and Faithful Past Navigator. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Seniors. Mr. Rosa is predeceased by his wife, Carmela (nee Biondi) Rosa in July, 2006. His son Richard Rosa in May 1988, A Granddaughter Elizabeth Rosa in May,2005. He is survived by his loving children, Vincent Rosa, Jr. and his wife Joan of California, and Virginia Wallace and her husband Bruce of Flanders. Five grandchildren Cynthia Wallace Gagliardi, John Wallace, Anita Bokan, Vincent Rosa III, and Toni Ann Wujcik. 9 Great-grandchildren, Sisters- in- law, Aurora and Claire and Many Nieces and Nephews. Family and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday August 23, 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
