Ahmuty, John R., 56, of Lyndhurst, died on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Mr. Ahmuty was a life long resident of Lyndhurst. He worked as Tax Counsel for Citibank, Manhattan, NY for 25 years. John is survived by his beloved wife, Judy A. (nee Cipolla) Ahmuty, his loving children, Angela De Coro, Jennifer Halliez & her husband, Kevin, John M. Ahmuty & his wife, Dana, Vincent Ahmuty and Domenica Ahmuty, his dear grandchildren, Angelina, Gianna & Isabelle De Coro, Matthew, Madeline & January Halliez and Alexa Ahmuty, his loving sister, Barbara Ahmuty and his special aunts, Dottie Russo and Jody Piratzky. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 10 AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 11 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Wednesday 7-9 PM only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lyndhurst Police Department, 367 Valley Brook Avenue, Lyndhurst NJ 07071.
