This lady Dorothy, lovingly known as “Paul-lees-Mommy” to many of us, has always been such an important person in my life. I was one of her “little duckies” as she use to call us kids in Magic Years Day Care. I went to school there from 2 yrs of age up to aftercare in elementary school. I later on volunteered a summer as an intern when I went to college to help her out with her students. Dorothy never changed and her happy go lucky and charisma was the fabric of her daycare center. I loved Dorothy so much and always will. She is with me in my heart and always will be. I moved out of the area to FL in 2010 but not before I visited Dorothy one last time. It was bittersweet and the last thing she told me was “You have a friend in me”. She gave me a blue glass duck figurine that was in her living room as long as I remember and it’s in my home right now. I always look at it and think of her. My heart and sympathies go to her family- Daphne & Lee. I loved her so much and was a second mother to me and forever will. Paul-lees-Mommy..keep watching over me and I know we will meet again in Heaven. What a glorious day that will be. I miss you so much! Love to the family. Sorry for late response but didn’t know she passed until I learned online. Sincerely Dorothy’s Little Duckie Elena
