Matraxia, Guido F. (Guy) �Wee-Wee�, 90, of Belleville, formerly of Jersey City, died on Tuesday April 15, 2008. Mr. Matraxia was born and raised in Jersey City and was a resident of Belleville since 1952. He was the Owner of the Franklin Casino, Belleville from 1947, which became Galaxy Catering in 1960. He then sold it in 1975. He also was an Industrial Real Estate Broker for Archie Schwartz, East Orange for several years. �Wee-Wee� was an outstanding athlete who played and coached semi-pro football and basketball. He was also the catcher and MVP on the Mt. Carmel Softball team in Jersey City that played in the 1952 World Championship. Guy was predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, the late Rose (nee Feltz) Matraxia (01/20/2008). He is survived by his two loving children, JoAnn & her husband, Dr. Alexander Cacciarelli of Thousand Oaks, CA and Vincent F. �Tanky� Matraxia of Lyndhurst, his five adoring grandchildren, Anthony, Guy, & Alexander Cacciarelli, Danielle Matraxia, and Natalie Campbell, and three great grandsons, Jack, Joey, & Rogie Cacciarelli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday April 19, 2008 at 9:30 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting Friday 1 � 4 & 6 � 9PM.
