Obituary of Mary E. Filippone

Filippone, Mary E. (nee Goffredo), 91, of North Arlington died on Tuesday October 1, 2008. Mrs. Filippone was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of North Arlington for 80 years. She was the Co Founder with her beloved late husband, Michael V. Filippone (1993) of Melray�s Furniture Store, North Arlington. Mary is survived by her four loving children, Jacqueline Lofredo & her husband, Richard, Buddy Filippone & his wife, Ann, Theresa Worth & her husband, Jim, and Maria Di Bartolo & her husband, Giuseppe and by her five dear grandchildren, Joanne Overty, Amy Filippone, Michael Di Bartolo, Caroline and Jimmy Worth. She is also survived by her four siblings, Tina, Rita, Thomas P. and R. Michael Goffredo and by her devoted caregiver, Ela. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday October 4, 2008 at 9AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
