Distaso, Mamie L. (nee Giracello) 93, died on Wednesday November 5, 2008. Mrs. Distaso was born and raised in Jersey City and was a resident there for many years before moving to North Port, Florida 12 years ago. Mamie is predeceased by her husband Julius in 1988. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Stirone, Fred, James, Julius & Patrick Distaso, her fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great- grandchildren. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday November 13, 2008 at 9AM. Then to Our Lady of Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 6-9PM.
