Cella, Richard A., 89, died on Sunday December 14, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Cella was born in New York City and has been a life long resident of Lyndhurst. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was an Accountant and Financial Auditor for the N.J. Dept. of Labor & Industry, retiring as Director of N.J. State Dept. Unemployment Insurance in 1984 after 30 years. Mr. Cella is survived by his beloved wife Jean E. (nee Whalen), his three loving sons, James, Richard and Tucker Cella, his five dear grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Kevin, Christopher, and Rick Cella, and two great grandchildren, Cody and Anthony Cella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday December 19, 2008 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude�s Children�s Hospital.
