Schifano, Frank J. 85, of Lyndhurst died Sunday January 17, 2010. Mr. Schifano was born in Jersey City and has been a life long resident of Lyndhurst. Frank was a WWII Army Veteran (1943-1945). He was a Sheet Metal Worker for Art Craft Strauss, New York for many years before retiring 20 years ago. He was a member of the BPO Elks #1505 of Lyndhurst. Frank is predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean E. (nee De Matteis) in 2008. He is survived by his loving son, Frank Schifano and his wife, Kathi of Lyndhurst., his dear grandchildren, Angela Schifano and Sean Carney and his great grandson, John Philip Carney. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service held in Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 8:30PM. Cremation private. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
