Obituary of Joseph A. Gareffa

Gareffa, Joseph A. Jr. died on Sunday March 8, 2009. Mr. Gareffa was born in Belleville, lived in Lyndhurst for 18 years and Fairfield for 11 years, and has been a resident of Wayne for 7 years. He graduated from St. Mary�s High School, Rutherford where he played football. He worked for 10 years for Lyndhurst Auto Body Shop, Lyndhurst and then was Owner of Lodi Auto Mart, Lodi for over 20 years. He also was an avid golfer. Joseph is survived by his parents, Joseph A. and Marilyn (nee Dittman) Gareffa of Lavallette, his brother, John Gareffa & his wife, Susan of Fairfield, his sister, Debbie Casalinho & her husband, Frank of Montville, niece and nephews, John & Nicholas Gareffa and Frank & Amanda Casalinho, his grandmother, Helen Dittman, his aunts and uncles, Robert & Diane Gareffa, Edward & Donna Dittman and James Dittman, and by his cousins, Jennifer & Anthony Gareffa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday March 13, 2009 at 9:30 AM then to Sacred Heart RC Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
