McCafferty, Rose (nee Farrell) 81, died on Friday August 21, 2009. Mrs. McCafferty was born in Paisley, Scotland, moved to Kearny, NJ in 1950 and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 58 years. She was a Supervisor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Newark for 28 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Solidarity of Mary. Rose is survived by her beloved husband, John C. McCafferty, her loving children, Aileen Mullen and her husband, Peter, Gary McCafferty, Brian McCafferty and his wife, Meg, Kevin McCafferty and his wife, Lisa, John McCafferty and Robert McCafferty and his wife, Laurie, and by her dear eleven grandchildren and her brother, Matthew Farrell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday August 26, 2009 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
