Obituary of Leonard E. Wovna

Wovna, Leonard “Lenny” E., 82, of Belleville, died on Sunday, June 17, 2018.  Mr. Wovna was born and raised in Bayonne and has been a resident of Belleville for the past 20 years.  He was a Draftsman for PATH, Jersey City for 25 years before retiring in 2003.  He was a member of the Meadowlands Carving Club of Lyndhurst.  Lenny is predeceased by his wife, Genevieve (nee Korzun) and his brother, Michael Wovna. He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Alice (nee Guido) Wovna, by his daughter, Debbie Giardina & her husband, Giuseppe and grandson, Marco.  Also survived by his brother, Stephen (Margie) Wovna, sister, Maryanne (Joseph) Podraza and sister in law, Gail Wovna and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 9:30-11AM.  Funeral Service begins 11AM.  Cremation private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Leonard’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering PO Box 5028, Hagertown, MD 21741.
