Obituary of James F. Duffy

Duffy, James F. 84, died on Friday, August 12, 2011. Mr.Duffy was born in New York City and was raised in and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst. He was a Navy Veteran who served in WWII 1943-1946. He was a Tractor Trailer Driver for Teamster Local 560 for 35 years and a Custodian for The Lyndhurst Board of Education for 10 years. Mr. Duffy was a former member and Past Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus # 2396. He was a member of The American Legion Post 135, a member of the Garden State Harmonica Club and a friend of �Bill W�. He was predeceased by his brothers, Billy and Martin Duffy. James is survived by his beloved wife, Ann (nee Damiani) Duffy, by his loving children, James Duffy & his wife, June, Joseph Duffy & his wife, Geralyn, Michael Duffy & his wife, Debbie and Loren Farah & her husband, Greg, by his grandchildren, Kimberly Clift, Casey & Katelyn Farah and James, Brian, Michael, Patrick, Haley, Christie & Angela Duffy and by four dear great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 8:30 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visiting hours Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 4-8 PM.
