Sapone, Frank 83, died on Monday Octiber 3, 2011. Mr. Sapone was born in Italy and lived most of his life in Jersey City before living in Lyndhurst. He was a professional Boxer out of Brooklyn and Union City winning the Golden Gloves Award in 1942. Frank also worked for JamesWay for many years. He is survived by his sister Victoria Andronaco, and his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
