Obituary of Anna M. Girardo

Girardo, Anna M. (nee DeMarco) 83, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Mrs. Girardo was born and raised in Jersey City, lived 30 years in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Rutherford since 1985. As a Homemaker, Mother and Grandmother, Anna enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony C. Girardo, by her loving children, Ann Marie Murtha & her husband, Jack, Anthony Girardo & his wife, Maria, Catherine Van Dyk & her husband, Robert, Theresa Stenz & her husband, Andrew and Leonard Girardo & his wife, Elizabeth, by her dear grandchildren, Tinamarie, Rhiannon, Dean & Noelle Girardo, Joseph & Michelle Orrego, Jared Stenz and Matthew & Rebecca Van Dyk, by her great grandson, Haiden. Also survived by her brothers and sisters, Anthony DeMarco and Dolores Contini, and the late Josephine Roberto, Frank, Joseph, Sam, John and Carmine De Marco. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 8AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Friday 3-8PM.
