Obituary of Joseph R. Russo

Russo, Joseph R., 86, of Bloomfield, died on Friday, May 18, 2012. Mr. Russo was born, raised and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Bloomfield since 1999. He is an Army Veteran who served in WWII 1944 - 1946. He was a member of The AmVets Post 20 of Lyndhurst. He was an Expeditor for The Singer Company- Kearfott Division, West Paterson for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Rose (nee De Giacomo) Russo, by his loving son, Joseph Russo and his wife, Teri, by his dear grandsons, Joseph and Christian Russo and by his sister, Louise Pellegrino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: www.ShareNJ5K.org (participant Joe Russo) or Hospice of NJ, Inpatient Unit, Wayne NJ.
