Obituary of Robert J. Bores

Bores, Robert J., 70, died on Monday, July 23, 2012. Mr. Bores was born in Jersey City, resided in Bayonne and has been a resident of Waterford Township, NJ for the past 30 years. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Robert was a Fire Captain for Jersey City Fire Department for 31 years and a member of the Fireman Officers Union, Local #1064. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorna (nee Robinson) Bores, his loving mother, Margaret (nee Fugel) Bores, by his sister and brothers, Janet Sessa & her husband, Joe, Thomas Bores & his wife, Judy, Richard Bores & his wife, Betsy and Allen Bores & his wife, Alice and by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 9:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 3-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
