Gurzenski, Joseph L., 87, died on Monday, July 23, 2018.  Mr. Gurzenski was born in Albion, NY and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 50 years.  Joseph was a Navy Veteran who  served during the Korean War from 1948-1952.  He was a Sales Engineer for Oliver Mc Cleland Co., Newark for over 20 years retiring in 1994.  An active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Joe also was a member of AmVets Post #20, BPO Elks 1505, Mount Carmel Seniors and AARP all of Lyndhurst and the Old Guard of Nutley.  Joseph is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian (nee Calascibetta) in March 2002.  He is survived by his sister, Marie Dzieman and nieces, Linda du Fief, Chris Fullerton, Suzanne Dzieman, and nephews, Thomas and Lawrence Dzieman.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, July 28 from 9AM -10:45 AM. Then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 11AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
