Obituary of Geraldine T Riley

Riley, Geraldine T. (nee Guidetti), 91, of Lodi, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  Mrs. Riley was born and raised in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Lodi for over 65 years.  She was a homemaker.  Geraldine was a member of the Lyndhurst Senior Citizens, AARP, and the Ladies Auxiliary of AmVets Post 20 all of Lyndhurst and also the Holy Rosary Society and the Mother’s Guild both of St. Francis de Sale RC Church of Lodi.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert M. Riley, Sr. in 2007 and by her grandson, Robert M. Riley III in 2005.  She is survived by her loving children, Susan C. Riley, Robert. M. Riley, Jr. and his wife, Suzi, and Kevin J. Riley and his wife, Debbie, by her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Longo – Simon, Amanda V. Longo, and Christopher, Brandon, Danielle, and Meghan Riley, by her 12 great grandchildren, by her dear sister, Rita DiLascio, by her many nieces and nephews, and by her in-laws, Josephine Guidetti, Catherine Riley, and Mary Lehmann. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday from 3 – 7 PM where a funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM.  Private Cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at stjude.org.
