Obituary of Nestor J. Gomez

Gomez, Nestor J.,76, died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.  Mr. Gomez was born in Argentina, immigrated to Jersey City in 1973 and has been a resident of North Arlington since 1996.  Nestor worked as a Mechanic for Maher Terminal, Port Elizabeth, until retiring in 2007 and was a member of Metro ILA Longshoreman Local 1804-1 for 30 years.    Nestor is survived by his beloved wife, Maria E.(nee Viola) Gomez, by his loving daughters, Maria Gomez-Presti & her husband, Robert and Lorena Gomez-Power & her husband, Greg, by his loving grandchildren, Lukas and Gianna Presti and Madison Power.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4- 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10AM.  Funeral Service begins at 11AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
