Obituary of George J. Conhaus

Conhaus, George J., 76, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, September 27, 2018.  Mr. Conhaus was born and raised in Jersey City, lived in North Arlington, and was a resident of Lyndhurst for 49 years.  George worked as a diesel mechanic for Progressive Brick in Hasbrouck Heights for 30 years.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #2396 and the Elks Lodge #1505, both of Lyndhurst.  George is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sharon M. Conhaus (nee Peacock), by his loving son, Michael Conhaus, by his sister Rosemary Mahle, and by his niece, Lisa Mahle Greco. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, October 1 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Private Cremation.
