To Carol, Karen, Donna, and Rob,
I offer all of you my deepest sympathy. I don't have to tell you what a great person Don was. He was always happy and never complained. As you know I worked with him most of the years he spent at the arena and I always knew I could count on Don to do whatever was asked. Everybody liked him. I never heard an unkind word said about him. He was an honest, hardworking father and husband. You have a lot to be proud of and were very lucky he was your husband and father. I know how much you all loved him. He was easy to get along with. I will miss him.
I am sorry I can't make the wake today so I could tell you this in person. I know you already know all of this but I wanted to share it with you anyway.
Rest in Peace, Don. I pray for you and Carol every day.

From the first time I met him he was my Pop Pop. Never called him anything but! Kind, sweet, and gentle. He loved Mom, and family with limitless love and passion, as well of the people whose heart he touched. His sense of humor never waned, nor did his smile or courage.
His love of family and life will live on through others because of the gentle giant he was.
