Never have I ever seen a woman like Marie. Before her illness, Marie walked EVERYWHERE! To the grocery store, to the bakery, to the pharmacy, etc. I would often offer Marie a ride, but she almost always refused. Marie always had a smile on her face. I had the opportunity to visit with Marie the Saturday before her passing. Despite all she was going through, Marie smiled the whole time and she recounted her blessings in her son, Joe, and her daughter, Debbie. Lord, I thank You for allowing me to know this amazing woman. Please, Lord, make me more like Marie.
