Obituary of Anna Christie
Christie, Anna (nee Walczak), 98, died on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Christie was born in Stamford, Connecticut, raised in Secaucus and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1954. She was a homemaker, a member of the Polish American Citizens Club, Mount Carmel Seniors and American Legion Auxiliary, Post #139, AARP all of Lyndhurst. She also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Clifton. Anna is predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Michael A. Christie in February 2007. She is survived by her loving children, Mary Christie and Joseph Christie & his wife, Mary and by her cherished granddaughter, Susan Marshall & her husband, Doug
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 3 - 7 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 9AM, then to St. Michael’s Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered. Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna’s memory to the Lyndhurst Emergency Squad, 297 Delafield Avenue, Lyndhurst NJ 07071.
