Carini, Vincent M., 80 died on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Carini was born in Guttenburg, and moved to Lyndhurst at age 4, where he has lived for the past 76 years. He graduated Lyndhurst High School in 1950 where he was president of his class, earned Bergen County Football Honors and All State Football Honors. He went on to graduate Fairleigh Dickinson College, Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Business Management, then earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He was an Army Veteran from 1955 to 1957. Vincent worked for Prudential, Newark in Insurance Administration with 37 years of service. When he retired in 1994, he received recognition for his work with the YM/YWCA nominating Committee and the National Alliance of Business and United Way Campaigns in Newark as part of Prudential�s management contributions. In Lyndhurst, he served the town as President of the Board of Education. He was a member of the BPOE for over 40 years and was active as the Municipal Chairman for Bergen County Mental Health Association. Vincent was inducted into the Lyndhurst High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1984. He is predeceased by his brother, Joseph �Mickey� Carini. Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Margot (nee Wetzel) Carini, by his loving children, Vincent Carini & his wife, Diane and Gina Zalewski & her husband, Chuck, by his dear grandchildren, Adam and Vincent Carini, Rhianna, Haylee and Benjamin Zalewski. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Louise Perello (Richard), Carl Carini (Phyllis), Rosemary Vacarri (David) and Thomas Carini (Maryann) and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11AM. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting Saturday 9-11AM. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to David�s Wishing Star Fund, 9 Marion Drive, Suffern, NY 10901.
