Lombardi, Josephine (nee Piacenti), 94, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, April 22, 2019.  Mrs. Lombardi was born in Lyndhurst, raised in Brooklyn, and eventually returned back to Lyndhurst upon her marriage.  Josephine worked as a seamstress for many years.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Lombardi in 1999 and survived by their loving children, Concetta Sciolaro and her husband, Darwin and Louis Lombardi and his wife, Grace, by her cherished grandchildren, Valerie, Jennifer, Louis, and Joseph, by her brother, Vincent Piacenti, by her sister-in-law Patricia Gatto and her husband, Ernie, and she enjoyed receiving calls and love from her many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
