Obituary of Agnes D. Pelak

Pelak, Agnes D. (nee Kolesky), 96, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, September 16, 2019.  Mrs. Pelak was born and raised in Swoyerville, PA and was a resident of Lyndhurst for 35 years.  Agnes was a bookkeeper for Continental Electric Company, Newark for 14 years, retiring 1991.  She was a member of the AARP of Lyndhurst.  Agnes was predeceased by her beloved husband of 17 years, Stephen Pelak in 1965. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda Halpin and Marlene Alexander and her husband, Doug, and by her dear grandchildren, Marlene and her husband, Joe, Thomas, James and Ashley. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 on Thursday, September 19, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 20th at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Agnes’ memory to The American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Robinsville NJ 08691.
