Obituary of Gertrude D. Caggiano

Caggiano, Gertrude D. (nee Daub), 92, of Oxford, NJ died on Monday, November 18, 2019.  Mrs. Caggiano was born in Pforzheim, Germany and immigrated to America in 1929.  She lived most of her life in Lyndhurst and was a resident of Oxford for the past 3 years.  Gertrude was a dental hygienist for Edward S. Levy, DMD in Kearny.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, flowers, and gardening and was a longtime member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Lyndhurst.  Gertrude is predeceased by her former husband, the late Christino G. Caggiano in 2004, by her sisters and brother, Rosa McDougah, Louise Hall, and Emil and Gehardt Daub, and by her daughter-in-law, Laura A. Caggiano.  She is survived by her loving son, Richard P. Caggiano and his fiancée and caregiver, Alexandra Murphy, by her sisters, Elfreida Monico and Ruthie Morthier, by her cherished grandsons, Richy, Alexander, and Kenny Caggiano, by her step grandchildren, Joshua Inglin and Noel Lehr, by her great grandson Logan Jason Caggiano, and by 18 nieces and nephews.
