Obituary of Carmela Guarino

Guarino, Carmela (nee La Tona), 91, died on Monday, October 8, 2012. Mrs. Guarino was born in Italy and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1946. She worked as a Parts Expediter for Toyota, West Caldwell for 25 years before she retired in 1994. She was a member of the AARP, #4866 of Lyndhurst. Carmela is predeceased by her beloved husband, Pasquale Guarino in 1968. She is survived by her loving sons, Sal Guarino & his wife, Luann and Gerald Guarino & his wife, Kathie, by her dear grandchildren, Joe Guarino & his wife, Margaret, Kelly Mekeel & her husband, Keith, Katie Guarino, Krystin Abruscato & her husband, Joe, Jackie, Michael, Jessie and Jason Guarino, by her great-grandchildren, Kaya, Billy and Tommy and by her sisters and brother, Mary Porcelli & her husband, Gene, Angelina Domino & her husband, John, Dominick La Tona & his wife, Sarah and by the late Albert La Tona. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 8AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
