Obituary of Josephine Bracco

Bracco, Josephine (nee DeMaio), 86, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Mrs. Bracco was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 16 years. She was a mother, wife and homemaker as well as working for Stern's in the Newport Mall, Jersey City for several years.

Josephine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerlando F. Bracco in September 2017. She is survived by her loving daughters, Geraldine Lopez and her husband, David, Donna Bevacqua and her husband, Joseph, and Doreen Beatrice and her husband, David, by her dear grandchildren, Robert M. Luzhak, Anthony and Caroline Beatrice, Nicole, Alyssa, and Victoria Bevacqua, by her brothers, Jerry and Vincent DeMaio and by her many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.
