Obituary of Anthony J Gentile

Gentile, Anthony J., Sr., 86, died on Saturday, October 17, 2020.  Mr. Gentile was born and raised in Jersey City, lived in Washington Township and was a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 20 years.  He was an Korean War Army Vetran serving from 1953-1955.  Anthony was a Laborer and member of Local 325, Jersey City for many years before retiring.  He is survived by his dear children, Lois Mezer, Anthony J, Gentile, Jr. & his wife, Anne Marie, George Gentile and Priscilla Gentile, by seven grandchidren and six great grandchildren.  Anthony is also survived by his loving companion, Jean Blohm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 4 to 7PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 9AM, then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anthony's memory to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 197 Kingsland Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.   Please express condolensces to Anthony's family by using our tribute wall.
