Obituary of Frank S. DeSerio

DeSerio, Frank S., 78, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, January 25, 2021.  Mr. DeSerio was born in Hackensack and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst.  He worked in sales for Hirsch Auto in Newark for 20 years, retiring in 2014.  Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Joann DeSerio (nee DiPreta) and their loving children, Christopher DeSerio and his wife, Tara and Steven DeSerio, by his cherished grandchildren, Dominic and Adriana, by his twin brother, Robert DeSerio and his wife, Marie, by his sister, Jo Gingerelli, by his sister-in-law Mary Ferrara and her husband, Louis, and by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 3 - 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, January 29 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, Frank's family requests donations be made in his memory to American Cancer Society, P.O.
