Obituary of Sharon Ruth Serviss

(Serviss), Sharon  Ruth Leckner, 53, died suddenly at her home Friday, February 26, 2021. She was born in Kearny, on April 14, 1967, to her parents, Shirley (nee Davis) and Vincent Leckner, raised in Lyndhurst, attended Sacred Heart School, graduated Queen of Peace High School in 1985 and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Child Psychology from Kean University, She has assisted countless children in their formidable years. Sharon leaves behind her cherished daughters, Elizabeth, Mary and Anna, Her "daughter" Toria  & her son-in-law, Michael. Sharon’s infectious smile, accepting personality and her ability to love, unconditionally and with her entire being, are just some of the reasons, why her loss has left countless friends heartbroken.

During this time of covid, Sharon's family respectfully ask that visitors refrain from physical contact and know that your "presence" is invaluable to us.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 4 to 8PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30AM, Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst. Thursday, March 4, 2021. Cremation Private.  Please omit flowers and as an expression of sympathy, Memorial contributions may be sent to Elizabeth Serviss for the benefit of Anna (16), Mary (18) and Elizabeth (21). Condolences can be expressed to her family by using our tribute wall.
