I’ll remember Grandpa Mike for all of the family gatherings he presided over, quietly taking in all of the family action that was playing out in front of him. He had the best seat in the house because we all naturally gravitated to him (except for when we snuck in the kitchen to sneak some bites of Grandma’s cooking ;) Of all the holiday memories with Grandpa, the one I’ll always cherish is the most recent Christmas where we had the greatgrandkids together. He got such a kick out of them. The Hess truck that Grandpa gave our little guy that day is his favorite of all time. It’s brought him so much joy — he always makes a point to ask me “remember Grandpa Mike gave this to me?” It’s a sweet point of connection with him.

May my condolences bring you comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss. Even, though you know it is inevitable, the of a parent is heartbreaking. One is never really prepared. I hope the support and love of your friends and family brings you peace

Cheryl in, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was quite the guy. And it’s easy to see that sense of family was implanted deeply within you and your Family. You are a wonderful daughter throughout his life and will continue to keep his memory alive. Like you said, he is with your mom and that spells peace. I hope that peace Will remain in your heart as well. Love and light, sue Klausner, Jazzercise buddy

Aunt Eve called me to give me the sad news. I will always remember Aunt Toddy and Uncle Mike as some of the kindness people I know. The last time I was in New Jersey, they took My dad, his brother Louis and I, to Atlantic City for the day. We all went for a great ride in Donalds boat. I helped Aunt Toddy roll meatballs, just like I used to help my mom and grandma. It brought back great times. Aunt Toddy took me out to a ice cream shop, just as though I was a little kid, but 60 years old at the time. Uncle Mike, my Dad and I sat for hours in the garage talking about lod times for hours.
I lost my mom and dad over the past years and know that it is not easy, but they are with God now and looking down at us and want us to enjoy our lives. I am sure they are together rolling meatballs for all their friends. God Bless all of you.
