Obituary of Patricia A. Formoso

Formoso, Patricia A. (nee Waronowitch), 78, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.  Mrs. Formoso was born and raised in New York City and was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1997.  She worked as a legal secretary for Windels Marx in NYC, formerly Lane and Mittendorf, for over 35 years, retiring in 2011.  Patricia is survived by her loving son, Joseph Formoso and his family, by her dear sisters, Linda Firriello and her husband, Michael and Pauline Friedland and her husband, Scott, and by her nephews, Billy and Michael Niksa.  She provided a safe haven for anyone who needed help and always had room for one more person at the dinner table.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, including her in-laws who considered her family and Joe's friends who grew up calling her "mom."

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 3 - 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, June 26 at 9 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  Patricia's family kindly asks that everyone in attendance wear a mask.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
