Obituary of John S. Cusmano, Sr.

Cusmano, Sr., John S., 93, of Lyndhurst, died on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Mr. Cusmano was born in Jersey City, lived in North Bergen for 10 years, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1964. John was a US Naval Veteran, serving during WWII, 1945 to 1954. He worked as a truck driver for Liquid Carbonic Corp, of Harrison for 36 years, retiring in 1980. John was a member of Holy Name Society, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seniors, AARP and the American Legion Post 139, all of Lyndhurst as well as the italian club, Yerri Oggi Damani of Rutherford. John is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Concetta "Dolly" (Nobile) Cusmano, by his loving sons, John Cusmano, Jr. and his wife, Jane, Richard Cusmano and the late Thomas Cusmano (2017), by his daughter in law, Jane Cusmano, by his grandchildren, John Cusmano III, Christopher, Nancy and Geanna Cusmano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, August 7th at 10 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville MD 20852-3914 .  You may express your condolences to John's family by using our tribute wall.
