Obituary of Marie S. Burkhardt

Burkhardt, Marie S. (nee Ghiberti), 78, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.  Mrs. Burkhardt was born in Hoboken and had been a resident of Union City her entire life. Shortly after her young husband Daniel, passed away, Marie began working as Property Manager for Stephen Shilowitz, A.I.A. in Jersey City, NJ. and for various management companies in Hudson County for several years only to retire a few years ago. She is predeceased by her parents, Francesco (Frank) and Jean Ghiberti (nee Modero) and her beloved husband, Daniel A. Burkhardt in 1974.  She is survived by her loving sister, Louise Ann Vernola & her husband, Domenico (Mike), by her "cherished as her own children" nieces and nephews, Rosemarie Zembryski & her husband, Joseph A., Michael Vernola & his wife, Damaris, Janine O'Connor & her husband, Michael, by her grandnieces and nephews,  Joseph Zembryski, Jr. (Nicole), Gianna Westwood-Booth (Adam), Anthony Zembryski, Chelsea Bashi and her fiancé (David), Andrea Bashi, Alexis, Brittany, Michaela and John Michael Vernola and Trinity, Hope and Eden O'Connor.

The Services for Marie were private and under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. N.J.
