Obituary of Mary Anne Torino

Torino, Mary Anne (nee Saltarelli), 81, of East Rutherford, died on Monday, October 25, 2021. Mrs. Torino was born and raised in Lyndhurst, lived in Rutherford for 22 years and has been a resident of East Rutherford for the past 3 years. She was an Assistant Secretary to the Superintendent for the Lyndhurst Board of Education for 17 years, retiring in 2000. Mary Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael D. Torino in 2000 and her brother, Joseph A. Saltarelli in 2006. She is survived by her loving children, Michele Centrello & her husband, Richard, Danielle Torino and Michael D. Torino & his wife, Lorelei and by her dear grandchildren, Isabelle, Christina, Gabriella, Deanna, Vanessa and Giuliana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 9am, then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10am a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Anne’s memory to St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148.   You may express your condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
