Grandma Betty always made you laugh, she had such a great sense of humor. She loved her gardening. I was blessed to spend time with her in June she showed me all around her gardens. She had me pulling potatoes up it was great! I will truly miss her. I feel honored to be part of this amazing family. My deepest condolences. Michelle

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Parking Enforcement Officer Elizabeth “Betty” Sliwoski. PEO Sliwoski was actively serving as our senior PEO in the traffic division and as a matron for the last 37 years up until her unexpected passing. Additionally, PEO Sliwoski served in excess of 20 years as a volunteer EMT with the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad. Our thoughts are with the entire Sliwoski family during this most difficult time. PEO Sliwoski will be sincerely missed by all, may she Rest In Peace. Lyndhurst Police Department & PBA Local # 202

My deepest sympathy to the Sliwoski family at the loss of Betty. She was daughter in law to my Aunt Mary Sliwoski. Though I haven't seen Betty in years I remember her for being very energetic and quite beautiful esp as a young woman. Still beautiful through and through.
