Rest in peace my beautiful Zia. You were such an important part of my childhood. Many Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter memories were made alongside venison and rooster with a side of "piselli con vitello". You always brought a gift, never letting a moment pass to shove money in our pockets. You were so much like my Nonna that sometimes I'd walk right past you and then I'd hear "ma non mi hai visto?" I still remember the 80s basement parties with your Italian crew, where everyone would dress nice and waltz til late night to the sound of the accordion. I hope you are at peace now.
