Obituary of Carolina DellaFave

DellaFave, Carolina (nee Petacciato), 86, of Clifton, died on Friday, May 20, 2022.  Mrs. DellaFave was born in Jersey City, raised in Lyndhurst, and was a resident of Clifton for 15 years.  Carolina owned the Lyndhurst Day Care Center in Lyndhurst for 30 years.  Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael J. DellaFave in 1981 and by her cherished daughters, Debra Szwez and Judy DellaFave both just this year, and is survived by her loving son, Michael DellaFave and his wife, Maryann and their family, and by her sister, Marie Horan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral on Thursday, May 26 at 8:30 AM then to St. Philip Church, Clifton where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.  You may express your condolences to Carolina's family by using our tribtue wall.
