Obituary of Elaine Trezza

Trezza, Elaine N. (nee Nangle), 77, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.  Elaine was born in Salem, MA, raised in Rutherford, NJ, lived in Frankfurt, Germany, for two years, and in Lyndhurst, NJ, for the last 54 years.  She worked as the office manager of Bergen Auto Upholstery in Rutherford, NJ, for many years, a career she was most proud of, retiring in 2015.  Above all else, Elaine loved her family.  She was the sweetest, kindest and strongest woman for her family, friends and everyone who knew and loved her.  Elaine is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Salvatore Trezza and by their loving children, Marsha Colatosti and her husband, Joseph, James Trezza and his wife, Veronica, and Nicolle Jinks and her husband, James. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kristen and Staci Trezza, Evan and Ethan Jinks, and Zachary Colatosti, and by her seven brothers and sisters: James Nangle (predeceased) (Ellen), Bernard Nangle (Patricia), Marilyn Nolan (Robert), Arthur Nangle (Sandra), Raymond Nangle (Mary Kate), Richard Nangle (Lorraine) and Carol Tyler (Gary).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2 – 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, September 12 at 9 AM and then proceed to Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst, NJ where at 10 AM, a funeral mass will be offered.  You may express your condolences to Elaine’s family by using our tribute wall.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Shriners Hospitals for Children by clicking here..
