Obituary of Amalia Rossi

Rossi, Amalia, 86, (nee Covino), of North Arlington, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  Mrs. Rossi was born and raised in Roccabascerana, Tuoro, Italy and moved to Newark, NJ in 1965 before settling in North Arlington where she lived for over 50 years.  She worked as a produce clerk for Patsy's ShopRite of Lyndhurst for many years before retiring in 2007.  Amalia is predeceased by her beloved husband, Fiore, in 2009.  She is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Stirone and her husband, Bobby, Dora Rebelo and her husband, Joe and Diane Rossi-Parrella and her husband, Rosario, by her dear grandchildren, Deanne Banach (David), Nicole Logatto, and Angela Lignelli, and by her great granddaughter, Scarlett Amelia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 2 to 6PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10am then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, where at 11am a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Donations can be made in Amalia’s memory to Alzheimers NJ, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland NJ 07068.  Please express condolences to the family by using our tribute wall.
