Obituary of Kristine Violante

Violante, Kristine, 32, died suddenly on Sunday, February 5, 2023.  Ms. Violante was born in Guatemala and raised in Lyndhurst, where she lived most of her life. Kristine was a cosmetologist and a certified veterinary technician, which led her to pursue her passion for caring for animals.  She was the owner/operator of Fluffy & Fido of Lyndhurst since 2018.  She is predeceased by her loving grandfather, Joseph A. Violante in 2009.  Kristine is survived by her beloved mom, Connie Violante, by her dear grandmother, Rose Violante, by her aunts and uncles, Marie & Bill Tooma and Marilyn & Robert Jones, by her cherished cousins,Billy Tooma (Maggie), Brian Jones and Melissa Kearney (Corey), her baby cousin, Lia, her life long best friend, Mattie Larkin and by many great aunts & uncles and extended family, countless friends, and her dear fur babies, Shea, Jaxon and Opie. All who knew and loved Kristine are deeply saddened by this great loss.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from  2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM.   All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, February 10 at 9 AM, then to Our Lady Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered,  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to SOBAS (Supporters of Bloomfield Animal Shelter), 61 Bukowski Place, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.  You may express condolences to Kristine's family by using our tribute wall.
