Obituary of Robert T. Csapo

Csapo, Robert T., 46, of Lyndhurst, died tragically on Sunday, April 30, 2023 along with his son John Richard Csapo.  Robert was born in Passaic and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst.  He was a Field Engineer, traveling all over the world for CM Furnaces of Bloomfield, NJ.   Robert was an active volunteer for Boys Scouts of America 86 of Lyndhurst, Pack 86 as well as a  T- Ball Coach for Frank’s GMC and Jimmy’s Artistic Little League, both of Lyndhurst.  He is predeceased by parents, Tibor and Irma (nee Somogyi) Csapo.  Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Erica R. French, by their cherished boys, Sean Robert and James William, by his sister, Eva Wild & her husband, William, by his father in law, William French, sister in law, Kati French & her wife, Tara, brothers in law, Barry Pouliot & his wife, Brittney and Ross Pouliot. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Oaklyn, Wyatt, Delaney, Amanda, Ashleigh, Matthew, and Desiree Day, by his aunts and uncle, Lynn French, Nicole Iacovano and Brian & Lisa French, cousin Madeline French and his aunts, uncles and cousins in Hungary, as well as countless friends and his adored boy scout “family.”

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst from 4 - 8PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 6th at 9am.
