Obituary of Eileen Murphy

Murphy, Eileen (nee Daly), 79, of Rutherford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Mrs. Murphy was born and raised in Manhattan, NY, lived in Union City and Lyndhurst, and has been a resident of Rutherford since 1985.  Eileen was an adminstrative assistant for Panasonic of Secaucus for over 25 years, retiring in 2009.  She loved to cook and spoil her family with her delicious home cooked meals.  Eileen is survived by her beloved husband of  60 years on May 11th, Michael J. Murphy, by her loving children, John Murphy and Kim DiLorenzo and her husband, Darren and by her cherished granddaughter, Mia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 13th at 9 AM then to St. Mary's Church, Rutherford where at 10:30 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  Please express condolences to Eileen's family by using our tribute wall.
