We had the pleasure of knowing Marie for almost 20 years. She was a strong woman who was always ready to discuss the issues of the day. No topic was off limits. During a difficult time for us, she was quick with a kind word and shared the following:
"Lord, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
She will be missed by all.

I’m so sorry to hear about Marie passing away. I’ve known her for almost 50 years. She was a very wonderful person who would help everyone. Me and my husband and kids were also close to Christine. She loved coming over to visit and play games. Marie has helped us with problems and was always there for us too. I won’t forget her. Just a beautiful person. She is at peace now. Rest in peace.

Marie had us go to the Rocking Horse Ranch in Newburgh, New York. We had a good time with her and the place was fun to be there. We remember Marie was at all the events of the Lyndhurst Recreation and the Special Olympics. It will not be the same without her. Our condolences and sympathy to her daughter Christine and the rest of the family.
