Obituary of John R Reid, III

John Reid III, of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. John was 36 years old.

John was born and raised in Lyndhurst. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Vuono Reid and is the loving father of Jaylin, James, and Rocco.

He leaves behind his parents, John and Eileen Reid, his sister, Lauren Reid, and brother, Chris Reid; his mother and father-in-law, James and Linda Vuono, his sister-in-law, Laura Vuono Marinelli and her husband, Mike Marinelli, his niece and nephew, Rianna and Michael Marinelli, and his paternal grandmother, Barbara Reid. He is also survived by his loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.   

John worked along side of his father for the family business, John Reid Plumbing and Heating of Lyndhurst for many years. He took pride in coaching his sons' hockey teams and always took an active role in the lives of his children. He was well known in the community and loved by so many because of his big heart and selfness nature.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday June 8, 2023  from 3:00pm-8:00pm. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 9AM, then to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 149 Copeland Ave, Lyndhurst, where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
