When I was going through cancer treatment I would sometimes crash in the basement at Billy & Rachell's Carlstdat house. On a few occasions that Neil was made aware of, he had gone through the effort to make food for me and my mother to eat while we were there. His pot of sauce with meatballs and sasuages and his pot roast was a phenomenal comfort in a time of my life when comfort was rare. I will always remember him fondly.
