Obituary of David V. Vaccari, Sr.

Vaccari, David V., Sr., 92, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, February 22, 2024.  Mr. Vaccari was born and raised in Winsted, CT and was a resident of Lyndhurst for 65 years.  David proudly served in the United States Navy for 13 years during the Korean War and worked for the Naval Safety Command in Bayonne for over 14 years. He held three jobs over the years to support his family in any way he could.  David is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Rosemarie Vaccari (nee Carini) and their loving children, Linda Daniels and her husband, Charles, David V. Vaccari, Jr. and his wife, Camille, Thomas S. Vaccari and his wife, Tracy, and Michelle Vaccari, by his cherished grandchildren, Joey, Caroline, Steven, Fred, Gillian, Adeline, Margaux, Madison, Thomas, Jordan, and the late David III, and by his dear brothers, John and Leo Vaccari.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home. Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday , March 3, 2024 from 2 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2024 at  9 AM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.  You may express your condolences to David's family by using our tribute wall.
